About Adam
Although the title of this page may suggest otherwise, I won't go down the pretentious route of writing in the third person!
I am an established literary proofreader, editor and critic. Rather than simply proofreading novels or telling authors how I think they should write, I have the fortunate insight of being able to approach this from a unique angle: I'm an author. I have ghostwritten a number of successfully published books and short stories and am now working on a number of projects under my own name.
Being able to get into the mindset of the author and the editor gives me the insight to be able to ensure your work is fit for publication without smothering your creative voice or style. What's more, I know what's needed for publication. I have a large network of contacts in the publishing industry and offer a full preparation for publication service. My aim is not to take your money and just do my job: it's to make sure your book or novel gets published.
I had my first piece of prose published when I was just thirteen years old (it was a poem about Bonfire Night and I cringe as I read it back now) and went on to study English Language at an academic level in order to further my understanding of this fascinating subject.
Having worked in call centres, stacked supermarket shelves, sold hospital beds and messed around with search engines, I am now immensely proud to say I am a writer. Writing, editing and critiquing works of fiction is now my full-time job and I am delighted to be able to offer my services to you through this website.
